I am felt up.
I am not one who get my blood level up so easily. But some things at work seems to get me in a very depressed mode.Being stuck in a temp. contract position, i dun have a control over somethingsand maybe not being recognise. Maybe there’s no one here whom i can “click”.Firstly, i approached ‘the man’ to offer my help, at least i can get to interactwith them. But, i got the help through e-mail. GOsh...i was like you now, “eyesrolling” I have decided. I shall now keep my mouth shut and do whatever i am given and dun give a damn.I was telling my sis during the night before when i was about to go to bed. and all of a sudden, i am in “wake up” mode already. Its like a “After a Run” feeling.And also with the people around, i am in the “huh-duh” conversation. Like theJBJ production. No one to click, no designers, no arty farty people.
....................DID i cast a spell?Out of a sudden, i felt needed..From the man.
now, its confusing. back to work from ‘the man’

serve a palooza

"D timberland helpful souls"

we got a task last thursday and its call, " Serve a palooza". They always have such events to keep us occupied. Remember the last one was, event at Pertapis where we got to paint the venue, paint murals, draw hopscotch, change new beds, plant plants...etc.

however, this one is quite tedious. our group has got like 6 people and as what they mention, the more the ppl in a group, the household that you went might be: "bed-bugs academy, old and dirty, room pile with dirty clothes, its like, expect the WORST!"

but to the least, our nightmare did not arrive. the owner decided to go for a medical check-up and din want us to clean up his house. and yes, this event is to clean up old folks houses. Some of them are ill, most of them are old, unable to move and this add a heavy chore for them to clean and maintain their house in a 'live-able' environment. so our job is to clean their house, talk to them and make them feel happy and comfortable after the event. And we feel good as well, experiencing it is quite fruitful i thought. back to it, the second household was a 'bling bling'. not even a trace of dust. so happily, clean, mop the floor, touch up here and there.

well, the 3rd one was a true nightmare. din really wanted to mention the horrible place..it stinks and this old lady pee everywhere. get the idea? okie enough, so heres a pix where Coco and me carrying the newly bed to the old lady house..

and beware, her house is equiped with meat hooks, s-hooks, look so scary..

Too 'chem'...

Wednesday combat at bugis was such a disappointment. Not really that bad, just that i was hoping that KC could play the older tracks.

i was shocked when he said, " class, we are going to do the latest release for all the tracks, cos i am applying for the international license in BC. "

and the video.cam was placed behind me, damn. i must admit that i din really enjoy and sweat a lot.

But i was looking forward to 'The Campaign to Confer the Public Service Star on JBJ'. got my evil sister with me as well. erm...maybe i dun understand that much of those political governement issues or what..it din really hit me. except for the songs that remind me of BC. after the interval, i could snooze off. i try hard to stay awake..i guess its the lightings and the darkness on the stage. v. uncomfortable.

in the end..i still dun get it as in who is JBJ? well, maybe in the days/weeks to come, i can come to a conclusion. Sometimes, i think i got to select all these arty farty shows carefully. like " Mutiple disorder", thats quirky and funny, not too bad. On the other hand, i am looking forward to "Beauty World", staging next year in Jan. and vivi & me got kinda hungry after the show, maybe its b'cos we get so drain after trying so hard to understand and catch their terms like.."DCD?, DJL?JBJ?" Pam Oei is good on stage i must say. Do catch it if you got the time and a clear state of mind.

Make my way to tanjong pagar for my fav. dessert- annie peanut ice kacang.
vivian told me that they are closing for reno. this sat. in order not to get disappointed, i head down the very next day. wanted to get those famous muffins as well...you know? those selling at $1-$1.30 at tanjong pagar plaza? anyway, its sold out..so sad
Back to the ice kacang.
"hi auntie, 1 ice kacang pls"
a: " ee...your sis came yesterday leh.."
"ya..she told me you'll are closing down for reno."
a: "em..friday last day..(busy preparing my ice-kacang).."
then out came my ice kacang...so nice with only my fav. red bean and peanuts.. (its good enough al)
"thanks, auntie..erm.. btw, will you still be here selling after the reno.?" (say YES pls)
a:" smiles... yes"

i was hopping with joy. . .
those who have not tried it... you all have not tasted the real thing yet.. WAKE UP!
