recaping 2008

i’ve been a lot of ups and downs in 2008. gotta know the fact that life is about living to the
fullest, eat and live the best whenever you can. Do whatever you feel like doing and leave
with no regrets!
well, still with my bootmaker company, at least still surviving.

1. Some major upper management changes in Q3/4. I was almost breathless coming the end of the year
when my new VM mgr came on board. Not that she’s nasty or mean. I got lots to learn and digest before i
can really planned on my tasks. Come Spring 09 and Fall 09 i might have work pile up all the way to my throat.
(well, i couldnt’ find any better description) Mood still affects my work, guess my character wont change for
the time being. hoping to work on MAC platform soon.

2. Standard Chartered Run Completed! Thou i did not did better than yr 2007. im glad i went for the event.
no training, no nothing. and i manage to run 5km non-stop and walk the rest of the other half. Not forgetting
having sinful laska with Mandy and girl at Katong. Went back to rest and caught Body of Lies later at night.

3. Busy schedule that allows we to catch arty farty musical like once only. ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.’
Was very muscial i must say. the three of us almost gotta crazy over the empowering music.

4. Apple alive! Finally i feel the music and videos again. Bonus, with all the wi-fi thingy that kept my fingers
swipping and surfing. wifi- rocks!

5. Thou i did not treat myself to any good trips, i started 2009 with 2 wonderful road-trips. Start with a good
note.

6. Christmas the season to get jolly. i love parties, food, drinks and great company.

7. Bad economic. So that goes my investment. im sad but no point withdrawing now.

8. Almost 10 months and still going strong.

and yes, the title speaks for itself.my break from 14th-18th.
i cant barely wait. and guess what im planning for my next one soon. maybe in march, maybe.
Recap:
Christmas was fun at Vian's house. We cooked, we cleaned and we laughed when exchanging pressies. Good food, nice place and company. We were almost too lazy to go home till the third day. Yes. we just dun want to leave the house. And i got a Apple itouch pressie for christmas. *sweet
I almost couldnt wait to come back after the new year eve. we got long breaks and i was really doing nothing while the girl was working. i cant imagine the pile of work i got to work on the first day of 2009.
But everything was fine. Manage to clear my work.
I hope 2009 will be a good year ahead, lots of opportunities, goals, wealth and of course health.
*my whole month supply from the girl. im a choco freak*

Make a trip down to Palais Renaissance PS. cafe for dinner with fellow colleagues.
the place was a quick get away from the buzzing city. the atmosphere was almost too comfy. The desserts were great, just that i had a irritate throat so i got to mute down on that. their caesear salad with poached prawns was a huge portion, enough for 2 girls to share.

what can i say? good food, nice chat and fabulous hangout.
