its the end of 2007...welcome 2008

2007 has left me with some great achievements, satisfaction and more experiencing moments.

The year is running towards the finishing point.
I start to recap what have I’ve achieved in this fruitful year.

Living at the age of quarter-life crisis, made me feel that I have to be cautious in every step I made. In the later stage of this year, that is. I left my previous digital imaging company in the early half of this year to pursue another interest, Visual Merchandising.

The previous company, I gain much knowledge on big brands, knowing of upcoming events/promotions, artistic flair on photographers, the techniques of perfect color management and getting to know a bunch of nice girls.
My manager is a nice woman with very naïve mind who teaches me lots of stuff. I do gain a lot from her with my ‘never-ending’ questions, the ‘why & what if’ questions and sometimes I do throw her a very nasty face or even a ‘dun come and bother me’ attitude. I admit I am a bit rude to her but I don’t admit that I am in the wrong. Those incidents were still deep in my mind.

The turning point started when I joined Timberland.
I got to know a handful of nice people.
Rizal- the fabulous guy with the kinda attitude where you wouldn’t think of becoming a colleague with him. Eventually when times passes, he has the ‘wow’ factor. No bullshit! He bitches a lot and is not afraid to tell. I wish to learn from him his
1. Planning skills in directing people
2. VM skills
3. and of course all his bullshit that manage to pull of the people around him.

But unfortunately, he left us early in July to pursue other advancements.

Celine- ‘out-of-the-world’ creative gal who manages to pull herself out from accounts to Visual Merchandising. Learning on the job isn’t easy. You need encouragements, willingness to change and most of all the ‘push’ force. It's like you are either a creative mind or a ‘numbers’ kinda mind rite? She works on both. She’s also one nice/quirky/thoughtful boss to work with. She never gives me harsh words or nasty comments. Even if I am in the wrong, she knows how to say in correctly with minimal effort.
Aww~~ In fact, I grew up more when she’s not around.
Like when she’s traveling, I got to know what I need to get things done, motivate myself more and make sure that I do the correct things. On the other hand, I need her to be around so that I am more disciplined. So I wont check my personal mails, go on blogs. At least I don’t go online shopping. That’s so bad, and addictive I guess. I guess she’s quite blur also. Sometimes, she would come into the office with the ‘sleep-walking’ mode but still greets me ‘morning!’ and I go like, ‘hey, are you awake?’. I mean the look of her lah, cos she wouldn’t be sleep-driving rite!

And the rest, Kelvin- super-duper ‘kan qiong’ quy. He looks like a toy to me. His waist is like 26’. My god! And everyone of us can actually imagine him with this walked-in wardrobe saying: “ hello friend, welcome to my home.
Let me show you to my room (with Canadian slang).
Introducing this season floral collection from designer Jean-paul gauliter. This series of design combines …blah blah.blah. And this season for the bottoms, skinny jeans is in. details like blah.blah are emphasis.
Timepieces from blah.blah
Accessories are a must have with leather from blah..blah.
This season, I also have fag bags from blah.blah. The weaves..details, colours like hues and nudes are in. and the story is never-ending. And imagine he can actually go on with the next year season 2008 fashion.
Man! I have to salute him.
Lorna- the mother who bakes marvelous brownies and muffins. Chocolate fanatics and healthy munchies woman. Unfortunately, she’s also moving on to another step in her life.
Cheryl- previously impresses me with her ‘lian’ look. But as time goes by, she such a sweetie and also smart EQ. Chocolate fanatic as well, but only selects the best.

Enough of the people. The environment was great. With nice sea-view. Shit! I forgot Sabina. The girl suffer much from culture-shock. Previously working with clinique, under the estee-lauder group. She’s much a typical ‘lian’ girl with brains. You can get everything from her. She knows everything. And apparently, she’s from a twin. And everything that comes to her mind, she will ‘ blukes’ out. Her signature phrase would be ‘WTF!’ for ‘FYI!' hands on' girl who will be willing to teach you the essence of beauty and prevention on aging. She’s a walking beauty guide I should say! and also a mobile funnie. She’s our 369 in Timberland.

Also I read a couple of nice books like ‘How full is your bucket’. A book on positive minds and ideas. I would never go near such books, god. But it was good and of course it gain me some human reactions towards compliments. Haha! Haruki Murakami- The wind-up bird chronicle. In depth and in some sections I might even fall in deep sleep as I have run 42km. And speaking of that. I manage to complete this year 10km woman’s standard chartered run. With 1 hr 30mins as a first timer I am quite please with my results already. Next time I am going to strive for 1 hr. '

This year I also got my driving license, which was a major accomplishment. With 14 demerit pts. I also got to learn Visual Merchandising, another aspect in design. Working in a bigger company, with more politics, more changes, more first-times and more people management.

I learnt that i've grown up as well. and i am happy with that. al least i have future goals and targets to meet. Realizing how tough is life and not to take things for granted and having more friends is always much more better than a enemy.

Bon voyage 2007!
i lurve all the sweet memories and its going to retain here for recap.
next up will be my new year resolutions.
woo!

the weekend

my weekend was spent at the coasta sands.
had much put-in effort bbq food from yongyuan & francis.

most of them were from my sec. school. I thought i managed to burn off the food by exercising 3+ hours. But i was so wrong. bbq food is so meant to be oily when 'experience' is not up to it. I brought along Royce chocolates and brownies from the 'Brownie Factory' to pamper them. And they were great. Like my main course, as usual.

And i'm glad they like them too. *dun seem to have yet tasted royce*

We spent the night watching tv. Yes, i know. Boring rite? and have myself smell like 'bbq scented'. Later we drive down to Changi to see some 'people'. Apparently, they seem to have moved. Not many of them there thou.
And we also went to 'OCH'. Commonly known as Old Changi Hospital. And the three of us girls were like so damn scared that we had to stay together in the car. and the naughty boys were exploring. Actually i am not tat timid lah, but just that i am in the particular day of the month, thats why.

Went to have a drink at one of the coffee store and was back to the chalet at 4am+.

Gosh..i am going for combat class leh.. at 10am.

As usual,
KC is not here again. Fever at 38.8C. and stupid JD still can tell us to go and buy 4D.0338 or 3880.

Class was bad. His cues and moves were ... Songs were >_<... And it was the first time i went out of someone class during the last combat track. and its official that i wont go for his class, unless he improved. i was wondering.. how did he pass the audition and whatsoever test. And so my fav instructors were:
1. Meech (*so irreplace-able)
2. Christina (the aussie/chinese looking girl who's been trying to speak Mandarin)
3. Roger (best selection of tracks everytime..sharp, witty and full of energy)
4. Cheslyn.. (if only u were here...sweet, cutsy and animated)
5. KC (pre-cues were good, but too many 'animated' sounds and v.uncle to me)
6. William (was once my fav. until he dropped his standard..coming back to revival)
7. Azrino (the slim guy who always make funny actions, but sharp and bold)
8. June/Ayesha/Mae (the girls are lacking of audiences)
9. Suhaimi (enjoying..dun expect to be serious in his class)
10. Tomomi (the yet to be born star, shines bright and lotsa room for improvement. can be in top 5.)
11. Collin (sharp and good, but dun appeal to me. and timing is a big concern. Entertaining)
12. JD (pattern more than badminton!! and forgot all the cues, almost in every track..i am going man! Made me go 'arghh...' for the first time!)

more holidays...

Put my pressie into use-Look at that owl magnet that firmly grab onto e photo- Sistas in Crime!
This present is from Celine- my boss who can tolerate all my 'blur-ness' at work. LOL

Looks 'chem' thou, but was told that its quite simple to understand and inspiring. Hopefully i get inspired.

Next up.

I will be going to the sales meeting aka 'Go-To-Market' meeting at Penang. Lucky for me that it was only 3 days where initially it was one whole week. *gym that is my main concern.

Anyway it falls right after Jenna's Big day, the following week. Sharing room with our office Drama queen- Sabina. Which means i would have more complains, whinning, 'LOL' laughter' to entertain me throughout these few days.

Next.

These few weeks, i have been becoming more and more picky. the people of the bus, how they stand, look at people, how people 'eat hamburger' in the bus, sitting so near beside you...etc.

Am i sick or what? i simply dun understand why some.. OR MOST people dun pay attention to their mannerisms. what i meant it be normal and do the norm things, dun try to be some 'gugu' and try to talk to yourself in the bus/smile at yourself. sicko!!!

Next.

Something happy. Yihui aka my best hongkong-ese friend is goin to organise some bbq.

the 'got-nothing-to-do, get-together and -have-fun' thingy. really looking forward to it, as she's so excited like when she was 17. when she got her first bbq b'dae celebration. appreciated her thoughtful-ness. so i am going to bring something there- some sweet and chocolately aka my fav.

and coming up..i am going to post more before the year ends.

yeah! baby...

the bad day

The whole of last week was absolute gloomy, dull and moody.I was stuck in whether to go to my boss house anot. And that is so not me. If i dont wanna go somewhere, i would say ‘No!’ or give some excuse straight away. But this matter seem to be bothering me.Only Monday was good as i went for my 2 hours combat.

Thats it.
So on that day, i actually went and it was suppose to be POTLUCK.
So happily, i went down to Da Paolo to get their pizzas. I dun wanna get Pizza Hut as i wanted something special. and they were huge and delightful.
One major issue is that, there are too many food, especially the huge ham fromgoodwood park- order by one of the director. and nice-c mash potatos, pomelosalad, XO dumplings, foudue, crystal jade treats, durian puffs- from goodwood park, and dozen more.

But no one ate pizza.
except me and someone.
it wasnt really my fault..so in order to ‘Reuse’, they brought it to office the otherday for lunch. i was on half day, hopefully they did ate them.
and do u know what i enjoy the best that night?
the star awards show. i simply got to block out the rest and watch my TV.

another trip to ann siang

i explore the much re-vamped asylum. they have a lot of design icons around this time to align with the design festival.
the first time i stepped in style:nordic. scandinavian designs. clean cut and designers paradise.
the upper floor. this time was filled with design furnitures that are award-winning.

Front row. Tempted for their cup-cakes. But only spot dean and deluca candies. and their designer apparel were on sale. woods and woods..blah blah blah.. but unfriendly staff.
ann siang hill- the hill where surprises u with some therapy and nice gourmet. (da paolo was there, seven on club, jerry's..) and also (wild child, venue, vanilla home...)

retail therapy

Last week i went to Haji lane for some serious retail therapy.
In search for something quirky and out-of-the world.

Despite having my ulcers, i was still hugging onto my triple chocolatecrunch from Marks and Spencer. i boarded the bus and i was all the way munching onto my cereals. the crunchy oats and dark chocolate really get me going.

I decide to stop the thrill.
i went straight into the lane and pass by some shops which were not my kind. seriously look at every stairway that might be a good hunt for me.
I went in collage. Just to see what stuff have they been stocking up.
This time the ppl in there were quite friendly. and immediately this nice cutting- tulip dress caught my eye.
They have it in white and red.
i try on the red and it fits in size M. i thought i might have to go for a L instead.
But they insist that i shouldn’t be wearing too loose. sloppy! i was still pondering.. just then, they took out theturqoiuse color. NIce..!
i try that on as well. and happily looked at the price.
$89. still affordable, but in haji lane like not very worth it hor?
but was told that it was their house collection.
ask them for opinions. in the end i opt for the tur. and demand for discounts. but since they said that it was their new product, i shall not insist.
next, i went up to soon lee.
they have nice edgy tops and dresses which are quite oddy-cut.
i always like their designs, the shopping experience, and nice things to look at.I tried on a straight-cut top/dress.
Can be wore in both styles. but apparently i find the cutting weird.so i left there with nothing.
And also to some shops, the assistants were quite quiet. maybe it near dinner time.

Salad is not bad as well. nice household and apparel.
Then there was also ducti-fly, pluck, 3, flowers and plants...and i notice that most of the shops
there adopt/own cats.

Meow..

i left the pace feeling satisfied. Even thou with only 1 buy, i get myself update on their styles and trend.

Haji lane. i see you soon.

its a race of motivation, endurance and fulfillment

Yipee!

I have raced myself to complete the 10km women's standard chartered run. It's my first attempt and i am quite satisfied myself.
5.30am- wow! woke up with excitement. did a bit of dilly dally stuff and was too excited to talk
6.10am- hopped onto bus 133 and me and my sister was on the way to meet yihui and belinda at city hall mrt
6.40am- once we alighted at the bus stop. many look-alikes were found. all dressed up in the classic marathon tops. like one big family. hah!
6.45am- meet yihui and belinda. kindly put on our tags, adjust our timer at the shoe-laces. was told that if we lost it, got to paid like $50? crazy man!
7.00-7.20am- was going round and round for the baggage deposit area
7.25am- we head for a light breakie and some water to hydrate ourselves
7.50am- we were already lining up for the race. you can imagine the people. But the atmosphere was truly fun and motivating!
8.00am- we are still walking towards the START point as there are a lot of people there, we could not even start to run. Its running at the start point then westarted of jogging. I had my friend, Yihui with me all along. we are quite constant with our speed and it feels great to run with so many people as well!
Fabulous!

The run started and we din stop till like 7km and we stop for a drink.
the location at that time was- Marina South. The place where the Superbowl is or where people usually have their steam-boat and food.
I never imagine myself being able to run that far.
Gosh...
And the rest of the road back was inspirating as well. We did stop for drinks at certain points especially for 100 plus cos all the previous stations were serving mineral water only!!
and at last we reached the 100plus station and guess what? Diluted 100plus.
Just as i threw away my cup and starting running again.
Me and my friend overheard: “ Ee.. Diluted one!’ and we both laughed.
The last 1km was great. Lotsa cheers, noisy shout outs and man i completed in 1hr 30mins. I think the results was satisfing as i am not a frequent runner.
i love it and we collected our medal later and head to a delicious bon-appetite breakfast.

see you next year, standard charter.10km women;s run!

BE MERRY

Nice eDM..
Once again, it’s the season for fun, laughter, get-together, pressies, desserts, misotoes, carols, lovely-dovely, friends, joy and much much more.
Last year, I gave out some Xmas cards and this card I hope to do the same. Been busy lately, usually I would have the list ready. Like the cards list, pressie list and gather-together meet ups. This year? Only 1 planned so far.
Its going to be a pre-x’mas celebration with e girls and yet-to-be bride- Jenna.

I saw the big X”mas tree up at Ngee Ann during the weekend and I feel so much like huggin it. Its gigantic and filled with snow flakes, angels & fairies, yuletide, fruit cakes, turkey, cocktails and me in my LBD.

Dec is always the month to feel generous, make yourself and the people/friends around you happy. And I got so much I wanted to get for myself:

Agnes. B Tote Bag
Swaroski crystal pendant
Fred Perry Top
Freitag Tote Bag
Fie Ring
Wallet
Digital camera (another one!)
Dean & Deluca
Blythe Doll
the famous necklace from S.A.T.C, that reads ‘rachel’ on it

Anyway, all these are just stuff I kept replacing in my wish-list. But I do wish for them.

Santa, am I good this year?

More reviews

The guesthouse that we were staying was quite near the night market and also near to all the nice cafes/restaurants.
I was quite shocked with how the place looked when the night falls. It looks very much like our Holland Village or even Club Street. Very nice ambience and they do even Italian, Japanese, Fusion and all kinds of food for the most likely tourists.
The first night was we went to this ‘Golden Temple Restaurant’ (apparently, it was another eatery branch linked to our guesthouse.). I had their curry with rice and ying had their Chinese styled fried ‘dong fen.’ Cool ourselves with coconut and pineapple shake. It definitely helps to refresh us after the long adventurous exploration through the temples. And we were entertained by their ‘Aspara’ dance. A kind of traditional dance in Cambodia.

We ended the night by walking along their streets, out of curiosity. We rewarded ourselves an eye-opener of what they have. Le Bistrot, Boom Boom Room, SOHO (a gambling casino), Khmer House (authentic), Bubble Tea House with fit balls for guest to rest their feet, blue pumpkin. Galleries, Second-hand stores lotsa dining cafes.

The days in Cambodia were like a survivor to me as compare to like a holiday.
I feel so much for the people there, their simple life, their easily contented minds, and a way where one motorcycle could fit in 5 people? Like how they ‘cooked’ clams under the hot sun and eat them right away!! School life, I feel they are not very serious into education thou’. Even though they are pity/poor, they can have so many kids. I mean they don’t worry like the people in Singapore. Whether money is considered? Certainly they do I think, but developed countries like us, we think a lot. In such, we planned things cordially. We worried about our future, parents, kids, and career. We got to factor everything concerning the rest of our life.

One night in Cambodia, we chilled ourselves out at blue pumpkin. They are famous for their pastries, ice-creams, desserts, after 7.30 half-price offers, earl-gray muffins…etc We love their upper storey where they have this pure white daybed that stretches all the way to the counter. Unfortunately, we can’t get a seat there. But to admire the people sitting there, the interior, overlooking the windows, mirror for our reflection was good enough to blow the night away. We shared a soufflé with vanilla ice cream topped with some caramel sauce. We each ordered tea to calm our senses. (Earl-gray, ginger honey)
We left the place and went back on the last night to get ourselves breakfast for the next morning, as we are leaving early in the morning. Muffins, Coconut swirl Danishes and a mint-choc ice cream for myself. (pms addict)

We also went to ‘Dead Fish Inn’. Nice interior targeted for mainly the Caucasians and tourists. They have ordered delivered up through some pulley, so the server dun even need to run up and down the place. Orders are also slung down through a sliding down tag. They did have a band performing but we din still till late. Miss it. But they played mostly the old English songs.

Out of the 4 days, we also did something meaningful by helping one of the families by sending their boy to the clinic. Apparently, this boy foot was run over by bicycle/something. The family was poor and we did all we can to send them to the clinic. It was a bad wound and if nothing is being done, we were quite sure that in years to come, the boy feet might be gone.
So at least we get the doctor to bandage up the wounded and gave him 2 injections. The boy was crying when the needle went through his leg. But he is well behaved and sensible.
Satisfaction- the lend of a helping hand.

Nevertheless, I dun mind visiting the place again. And I dun mind going to Angkor Wat once again.

cambodia photos

The authentic cafe below my guesthouse. They have friendly staff as well.
Found this little boy inside one of the temples. so naive.
Poor me! still gotta sweep up the mess up.
Gosh! this sunset is so miracle-ly beautiful that make us climb all the way up there.
Look at the peopl who went up. and now they are trying hard to get down from the steep stairs.

Photo race

Magnificent view of Angkor Wat. There's no other place that have temples like this.

The pagodas within. Nicely constructed and detail carvings.
Too temples that we almost forgot to take a pix of the both of us. Look what had on our head. its so not us!!

Ilovesingapore

I dun intend to buy any absolute this time round in the duty-free.
But the moment i saw this packaging.. i was wow-ing. i must get this!!
The trip with ying was an experiencing one.

Cambodia delights us with their beautiful sunset, sunrise and magnificent temples.
For one time, I got to sit there and wait for the sun to rise.
I am a sunset girl. But after the morning, I feel more for the sunrise.
Discovering the yet to be discover.
Lots of tourists arrived before us.
We saw some Japanese girls taking candid shots. We are glad we are not only the younger ones. The older ones were sitting at one of the pavement after climbing heaps of steep stairs. Yes, the stairs there were steep. Very Steep.Chinese nationals were also among the crowd. Yelling here and there, wanted to take their photos every minute. Yet, impatiently, asking why the sun is not out yet. We also did saw some professionals with their tripods, adjusting their focal point and aperture to make sure that they got their perfect angle and lighting. Cool!
I just got myself blocked out from the rest. Stand there and dun seems to remember when’s the last time I really wait to see the rise.
It rose gradually with doubts, as the sky was too cloudy. The focus was on the huge fluffy clouds, which seems to have no-where to go.
Angkor Wat, I left the place with much peace and some thinking.

Golden Temple Villa-
Thanks for your accommodation treats. I like your courtyard design, nice ponds, the hammock rest place, the statues, friendly staff from the café and the reception. No regrets.

It’s a million things I can say when visiting Cambodia- Siem Reap.
The memories are still deep in thoughts and its not like the usual trips people go. Breathtaking. No big cities, no big fags, bimbos/himbos, but a country that tell their stories by walking through.
Now, I don’t know what I’m saying already.

The sunset alone can be one long entry.

mambo jumbo

I heard you on the wireless back in Fifty Two
Lying awake intent at tuning in on you.
If I was young it didn't stop you coming through.
Oh-a oh

They took the credit for your second symphony.
Rewritten by machine and new technology,
and now I understand the problems you can see. Oh-a oh
I met your children Oh-a oh
What did you tell them?

Video killed the radio star. Video killed the radio star.
Pictures came and broke your heart. Oh-a-a-a oh
And now we meet in an abandoned studio. We hear the playback and it seems so long ago. And you remember the jingles used to go.

Oh-a oh
You were the first one. Oh-a oh
You were the last one.

Video killed the radio star. Video killed the radio star. In my mind and in my car, we can't rewind we've gone to far Oh-a-aho oh, Oh-a-aho oh
Video killed the radio star.

Video killed the radio star.

In my mind and in my car, we can't rewind we've gone to far.
Pictures came and broke your heart, look I'll play my VCR.
You are a radio star.
You are a radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.

the beginning of luck

Aw.. its a great saturday morning, yet i still got to pull myself from bed and go for a checkup. It's complimentry from my insurance AIA. so i happily booked for it like 1 month ago. being blur sometimes, i called up the medical group between suntec and paragon and got mixed up which one i confirmed. i calm down and try to recall, refer to my organiser and there, i have written down, 'paragon check up @ 9am' god bless.
it was a hassle when you got a shopping mall and office altogether. first, i got to take a lift from the mall, then swtich to the office lift. i thought i will reach the door soon. but to my surprise, i got directed to another few floors up. cos they shifted their centre. gosh.... and it's in the morning, was in half awake mode. i was elated that i dont have to wait for long and the checkup was a quick one.
* breath

One thing that started well on the first day on the week was..."eEEEE woo i passed my driving test'
Things never look so good. i took a day off, went to pray at temple at bugis. and that day seems to be the 'guanyin' birthday or something and got myself a 'stamp' at the back of my tee. Said to be, for some luck change. i went to buy 4D. its been ages since i last bought. 6606 on wednesday. and the first prize was, 6656. damn, i knew it. no lah, i dun. but it was a good try.
And the week started well, i have loads of things to do which i love. i cant imagine myself staring at the computer all day doing nothing.

hope that my quarter-life crisis would soon be over.

you both did your best!

Its a pity that jeneen was eliminated out of the Star search. i could see the hardwork that she managed to put in, in order to get rid of the 'ang moh' mandarin she used to speak. she's almost perfect at all genres except for acting i suppose. and the camera loves her. photogenic and gorgeous! dun give up girl, your road to fame has just started.

And also to shauna who battle out in Live the Dream. she sounded so much better after genres and genres. still, i argued that she should be in the top 2, instead of Victor tang. she's not just a pretty face, she sings like a bird. woo~
All the best, babe!

Tada!! this month window

this month, we are focusing on Smartwool. Its a fiber that can be use in shoes, sock, jackets... and it puts in warm in winter and cool in summer.
it keeps you comfortable for all-day wear. it's made from Merino sheep in NZ. soft and prevent itchness, odour-free. overall i would grade it was a smart invention. the 'little guys" in the window are acutally the icons for smartwool. so being smart, i guess they are importing those footwear out for our customers to view them. look like they are working hard. haa! this window also shows that they are engagin in an activity. so i guess it brings some human-touch with "little guys" in different positions in promoting Smartwool.
so do look out for them in our stores.

worst start for the day

it was the usual wednesday i expect. body combat in the morning, having a nice breakie at the office and the day starts.
but...

i got a sharp calling from my tooth. its not decay, cos i went to the dentist not long ago and i was in deep pain. aniwae, morning combat is a disaster. KC was late i supposed. and one thing, how can he be late for morning classes especially when literally all the ppl pull ourselves out of bed and went to his class. his excuse? "oh, you knoe its hard to say sometimes. the expressway was jam. like i go to CTE, jam! PIE jam!" i mean " are you serious? and the luck that i got to hear from class 95fm this morning, FD said that there is no traffic update. meaning? not much jam on the road rite? so this Alief went to take over for the first 3 tracks. my mood went down... (faint)

First. we were already starting 5-8 mins late. and he continue to talk and talk and tell us that he need to go in the locker and get those song tracks. i mean, go ahead lah, still need to tell us. damn felt up!! when he starts, his voice!! omigod!! doesnt seems to blend in with the music. cues was bad! and the gym gear that he wore was sloppy and unprofessional. hated it!

(cool down) sorry for commenting so much but all this need improvement. and if i am not wrong, when KC came and took over the class, he got one of his cues wrong..
"shuffle to the right, right side kick, back fist." (should be left upper cut i thought, but luckily the rest of the tracks were not bad)

the tooth is hurting me again. groan*

my throat is on fire!!

if i were in one of those deadly sins, mine would be gluttonly.

thats why i got myself rewarded for sore throat. it all started way back last tues while we were having our desert day. its brownie with ice-cream, k! i couldnt control myself. then continued with everyday choco for myself. weekend is even worst. due to pms, i indulged in sinful chocos and v.heaty stuff that i crave for so much. it's always this kind of routine. whenever i dun have cramps, i feel good but i crave for all these junk food. But whenever i am in pain, i dun feel like eating anything. well, i guess that's what balance is about.

also just got back from my revision. feel so uncomfortable with my throat again, and yet i still cant help looking at the cereals on my table. i really dun feel like eating anything and today i am going to attempt and run two rounds in my neighborhood. all for the stand. chart-10km. how am i going to run in this kind of state?

VM windows

On peddar at Takashimaya-Singapore. Their window is sort of inspired by "Jin Yong". They use catalogs to 'act' as risers to highlight their products. But i do love their heels and bags. Their catalog also uses abstract photography and some montages with their products with 'Jin Yong' artworks.
impressive!

intepretation of dreams

the night before, i had this dream that seems so real. it was a nightmare in fact, entitled: “Resident Evil”.
I dun noe the most of you all. But me, i often make a lot of friends in the dream and sometimes when i dream of certain scenes i saw them. kinda like ‘meet-up and gather’ aniway, this dream got me so tense and brain-dead.
i was in this 100-storey building with friends i make in my dreams.. and those corpses were at the bottom of the building coming up to get us. and we all went up to the top, ‘roof’ and waited for them up there.
i was like, ‘prepare to die’ mode and lots of thoughts kept running thru my mind. in the end, i never get ‘bitten’ cos the dream ended here.

But this somehow kept me thinking that perphas it has some link towards my career. sometimes, i do think too much.

i am going away soon. to...Cambodia. i dun know whether thats good idea anot but at least get away from this island. experience different cultures, history, food, peopple and suffer some hardships, bad air, hygiene and everything thats bad

Monday, October 8, 2007

these are macarons that i drew when i had the sudden craving for desserts. looks fake i guess. and also after the weekend i felt so tired. no motivation to work. i went to the gym on sat and bump onto my ex. VM mgr. went on to ask him what does he do besides the IG. he says that he do advance work. i was like, “what advance work? i mean i got nothing to do almost everyday.” He suggest me to do down stores. In fact, i had done that but everytime i went down. i was mortified with their displays, settings and most of all service. So the only way to get inform of cultures and trends, i went online. hope my boss doesnt mind. Cos she sits near me and i can sense that she does overlook at my com, sometimes.

Afterall, i dun go online shopping lah, thats too overboard already. i came came to work, learn something and hopefully to get myself some sense of fulfillment when a task is accomplished? sigh, maybe they dun dare to let me try yet.Over the weekend, i went to catch Resident Evil. One Word: Boring!

So ppl oiut there, dun catch it unless its a weekday.

Its a god damn amazing race

Hey hey, the amazing race is here again. and guess who i saw? Its Collin(left), gx-instructor from Cali. Bravo! And they are representing Singapore. But sadly i cant catch it. more stories please click on the link.

Help me with this..

If you have a choice would you,

1. Choose a job that you love like you dun have to work a single day. Yet get some miserable pay and work till late hours?

OR

2. Choose a job that you have some interest in. Learn something new, get a nice pay. Knock off ontime, get some pretty good privileges. Good environment and stable. But, sometimes it’s getting too bored that you might die of boredom, and i mean it.

!@#$%^&*

I am felt up.
I am not one who get my blood level up so easily. But some things at work seems to get me in a very depressed mode.Being stuck in a temp. contract position, i dun have a control over somethingsand maybe not being recognise. Maybe there’s no one here whom i can “click”.Firstly, i approached ‘the man’ to offer my help, at least i can get to interactwith them. But, i got the help through e-mail. GOsh...i was like you now, “eyesrolling” I have decided. I shall now keep my mouth shut and do whatever i am given and dun give a damn.I was telling my sis during the night before when i was about to go to bed. and all of a sudden, i am in “wake up” mode already. Its like a “After a Run” feeling. And also with the people around, i am in the “huh-duh” conversation. Like theJBJ production. No one to click, no designers, no arty farty people.
....................DID i cast a spell?Out of a sudden, i felt needed..From the man.
now, its confusing. back to work from ‘the man’
